Courtney Shanade Salter, born March 26, 1991, and professionally referred to by the name Ari Lennox, hails from Washington, D.C. and is the debut female to sign to J. Cole's Dreamville Records label. Shea Butter Baby was featured with Cole as part of her Creed II sound track on November 16. In February, the video music for the song was released.
